Hi, I’m Shalyse
My path to becoming a therapist began in my early twenties while doing missionary work. I had a deep desire to help people rebuild and improve their lives, but I quickly realized I was out of my depth when it came to the complex mental and emotional roadblocks so many were facing. That realization sparked a lifelong fascination with human behavior and led me on a journey to learn how to truly empower others to create meaningful, lasting change.
I’ve been married to my husband for 15 years and we have four sons, who give us a lot of joy while also keeping us busy (and driving us a little crazy). Together we enjoy road trips, movies, video games, and comics. Individually, I love to read, do something creative when I find the time, play cards with friends, tackle a home improvement project, and go on walks. My favorite thing is watching a show with my husband when the kids are finally in bed.
